What we do
Prime for Life
is a program designed to reduce the risk of long-term health problems such
as alcohol or drug dependency as well as the risk of short-term problems
related to alcohol or drug abuse. The curriculum includes what has
been learned from many fields about the type of information that people
need to learn to change behaviors. Information is presented objectively
and persuasively using well documented research findings rather than opinions,
scare tactics, or exaggerations. The curriculum's non-judgmental
research based approach is one reason attitudes and behaviors change after
participating in Prime for Life programs.
Prime for Life
is taught to people in the workplace, school, the military and other settings.
It is often offered to professional groups such as Social Workers, Counselors,
and Court workers for continuing education. |
